Audio promlems when using wheel after CC upgrade 21/2/2017

Hi all,

When using the mouse wheel to edit the audio is not playing back properly, it sounds like a white noise clicks for each frame. I have checked with previous projects that did not have this problem and they also now have the problem. I updated premiere yesterday 20/02/2017, this problem appears to have been introduced by the upgrade. I am on 2017.0.2 v1.0.

the sound card is an integrated sound card VIA Audio HD.

Op sys                                = Win 10

Source Footage                 = .Mov

No Error Messages

Using the wheel to scroll through footage frame by frame

No other relevant software running

No 3rd party codecs

Mercury playback engine in use (open CL)

Hardware

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz

16Gb

64Bit OS

GPU Radeion R9 200

The problem still exists with software only playback
