Audio skipping on imported video

So I have just imported a video into the software using the step by step tutorial and it skips the audio track so every second or so something is missing

It was recorded as one file in OBS and is a screen record.

My system is:

Hi amyl97633305,

Screen-capturing apps (OBS in your case) often use Variable Frame Rate recording, which is not supported for use in Premiere Pro.

I have seen similar issues (audio out of sync) with variable frame rate material before. As a workaround, convert your variable frame rate footage to a constant frame rate using the free HandBrake software before importing and editing in Premiere Pro.
