Audio stopped halfway through edit

Editing a podcast and I nested the audio to each specific shot of the speaker. Now halfway through the edit the audio has stopped playing back. I can see the levels on the timeline for the audio track, but there is not output. See attached media. I can double click into the nest and hear the audio playback just fine, but in the master sequence there is not any sound output from these two specific speaker channels.
