Audio Sync Issues on Project Re-open/Relinked media

I'm running into an issue where upon opening a project that was edited yesterday I need to relink media. This is a normal occurance for me. I have edited the file so that there is a small J-cut between my intro video and the recorded video. The problem happens when I reopen the file to edit at a later time. My audio becomes unsynced from the original edit. This means I have to correct all the files that were re-linked by draging the audio, and then following up by repeating my original edits. I thought it was an issue that would go away but keeps presenting itself. This happens in both Premiere Pro and Premire Pro Beta.
