Hi, I've been using premiere pro cc 2017 for about 15 days and I enjoy editing my gameplay videos on it. I've been rendering videos on it regularly that I record off shadowplay and everything has been fine until today when I imported a video just like I always do and when I went to edit it I see my videos and audios are out of sync. I tried doing the internet solution of changing files from .mp4 to .mov but it didn't work for me. I also installed quicktime but it didn't work either. Note that the videos plays fine on my windows media player or vlc or anything for that matter, perfectly synced. Also the video on premiere pro doesn't go out of sync at first which is very strange its after 10-15 mins that the video and audio starts to mess up. I'm cluless just last nite I edited and rendered videos just fine and today I can't do anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

As John suggested, your media is variable frame rate.

Exactly what is INSIDE the video you are editing?

Report back with the codec details of your file, use the programs below... A screen shot works well to SHOW people what you are doing - For Windows Internet Explorer press the PRINT SCREEN button on your keyboard, and then do CTRL-V to paste the screen print from the clipboard into a forum message

Free programs to get file information for PC/Mac http://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo/Download

- when you analyze your file in MediaInfo and post a screen shot in the forum, do so in TREE view

.

Does your video use a VARIABLE Frame Rate? See https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1110005

If yes, use https://handbrake.fr/ open source transcoder/converter to convert to Constant Frame Rate

For those using nvidia shadowplay, read https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2188814

It's gameplay video recorded using shadowplay so i'm bascially just cutting and joining the video and added watermark and thats all. Also this is the first time this has happened. I've been using shadowplay to record and premiere pro to render for more than two weeks and nothing like this ever happened and I haven't changed any settings anywhere either. Also I render quite a lot of footage everyday so putting it through handbraker and then rendering it takes away the time for me to actually play games. I can try recording with OBS but I just wanna know why would this problem would appear all of a sudden? I've been using it without problem for weeks. Anyway I'm adding the tree view below.
