Audio Waveforms NOT visible WHILE dragging the Audio Clip

So I am here after using Vegas for Years. Probably most users do not miss this feature as they never have used it BUT its amazing.

How do you sync your audio files if you cannot see the waveforms while dragging? Just hit and miss?
Is there an alternative solution for that?

That is correct, no waveforms.

Use markers instead and set timeline to Audio Units.
