Auto deselect text, numbers and everything in Premiere Pro

Since yesterday I encounter a problem with my Premiere Pro, everytime I try to select an option (text or number) it pops out and is not selected. I have tried to clear my cache, reset my workspace but nothing works. If anyone have a similar issue, let me know if there is a way to go back to normal editing.

If Premiere is acting up > trash preferences.

Same here. I cannot change names, cannnot search, cannot type any text layers. This uninstalling and resetting prefs etc.
