Auto installing premiere presets

I know that I can use the code from here:
https://github.com/Adobe-CEP/Samples/blob/master/PProPanel/index.html

To update the preset list xml file, to programatically add presets to Premiere.
However, the list doesn't update in premiere, until I close and re-open the panel.

Is there any way to notify the panel, to refresh the list. Or alternatively a better way to install a .prfpset
