When you run Auto Reframe seqeuence, are you getting a new sequence in the Timeline?

I, too, just upgraded to 2024. I am working with a sequence that is 1920 by 1080. I go in the project Bin and right-click on the Sequence in the bin. Then I select Auto Reframe, just like I used to do in Premiere 2023.  Then I select to reframe to 1x1 square sequence. The newly crated sequence has a square (1x1) framem however the fideo clips are not gettting raframed. I can see that auto-reframe effects have been applied to the clips but without a result! That was not thecase in Premiere 2023. In that version, when I used to Auto-reframe a sequence, it automatically adjust the media as well.

So there's no change on the video clips in the new reframed sequence? Have you tried different sequences or maybe try to make a new project and see if it works?

Hey Jorge.

Sorry for the issue. I'm moving this thread to the Discussions section to gather more information. Please let us know the frame size of your source media and Sequence. The Sequence aspect ratio needs to be different from the media aspect ratio for the Auto Reframe effect to work.

Thanks,

Ishan

I am using som .MOV files that are 3840x2160. When I select their sequence and auto-reframe it to a square frame, only the frame re-sizes but the media stays the same. I can see that auto-reframe effects were added, however, no keyframes were created, so the media did not resize.
