Auto saves location lost

Hello,

I'm having trouble finding my auto save files. Usually i would find a folder named adobe auto save next to my project save location.

I did not change any settings and under file>project settings>scratch disk the auto save location is still set to "same as project". Auto save is set to 10 minutes with a maximum of 50.

The problem is that i cannot find my save files anywhere for multiple projects that i created this year.

Correct answer Ann Bens

Have you done an overall search for *.prproj

FAQ: When to use "Save A Copy," or "Save As," and when to simply use "Save"

Hi Ann! Thanks for your answer!

I searched my pc for *prproj and narrowed it down to modified this month. The only files i could see were the original projects and no auto saves.

gotta say that you. need to doublecheck that autosave is behaving as intended on a regular basis.  I rarely have a problem with it, but everyonceinawhile.  This was also an issue back in FinalCutPro 1-7...  But back in the day, the autosaves took so long that you became aware that it wasn't happening pretty quickly.     Now, they happen in a blink even with a fairly complex documentary project....
