Automatic color shift in Premier Pro with M1 Apple Laptop

Hi Everyone!!!

Has anyone noticed any color changes in your footage while your grading? The footage shift from a normal grade to a bright yellow, blue or magenta grade to an off color grade and back to normal. This seems to happen with everything I have color graded. Sometimes if i cut a footage it changes automaticaly. Anyone having this issue?

I'm using Red Komodo Footage and Red Helium Footage on a Apple Laptop M1. I'm not sure if this latest version of premiere has major bugs or conflicting with Adobe Premiere. Please help! It's sad to know I've been paying monthly for this Adobe Product and cant get a tech to look into it.

Hi lunere77401384,

We're sorry to hear about this. Would you mind sharing a screenshot/screen recording of the color/preview shift that you are experiencing in Premiere Pro? Also, let us know the exact version of Premiere Pro & the OS version that you are using.

Thanks,

Sumeet

The greenish and bluesish look is not normal. It's totally off. It's supposed to be more natural like the other two samples I've uploaded above. Using M1 Apple Latop (16 Gigs of Ram) with the latest Premiere Pro. I installed Rosetta and had a rep from Adobe on the phone but the problem persist on happening.

Not a Mac user, but some other posts on here from Macs users have suggested installing Rosetta ... have you tried that?

Yes I jusdt did and had someone from Adobe look into it, it was working for a moment and went back to doing the smae thing. I have to call tech support again. This is killing film. I have a feature film i'm trying to get out to make the festival deadlines and this color shift is killing. I truly regret in getting the M1.,,smh

This is really a pain, wow. And the fun thing is, there's a ton of M1s out there now, including the devs (who tend to be Mac freaks anyway ... sigh) as most all have them for personal machines. And on most, this isn't happening.

So what the HAY is causing this on your machine? The variability of user experiences is so freaking difficult to predict by hardware now. Very frustrating, but it's happening both with Resolve and Premiere.
