Automatic Update Of Premiere Pro unexpected

This app just closed and crashed and then said it was because of the update? So I updated it and I hate the changes. Didn't even ask if I wanted to save and lost my timeline that I was working on. I have had this software for many years and I ate how it is changing. Please don't fix what is not broken. I feel dissapointed yet again.

Frustrating, sorry.

You can disable automatic updating in the Creative Cloud Desktop application, but what you've described is very bizarre, because Creative Cloud Desktop cannot even begin to update an application, while that application is running. Seems like PPro had already crashed, before the update began?

Regardless, if you had auto-save running before the crash, you may find a recent copy of your project in the auto-save directory.
