Automatically Relinking Proxies No Longer Work With the "_Proxy" Naming Convention

I've noticed in the last month or so, Adobe Premiere 26 with its latest update no longer allows me to automatically attach Proxies made with "_Proxy" at the end of each filename. I found this very useful so that Proxies can easily be identified. It wasn't a big deal with my last project since it was starting anew but with an ongoing project, this could potentially cause issues reattaching proxies without having to rename them all, taking off the "_Proxy". Is this a glitch or an intentional change by Adobe?

I have been playing around with Premiere and actually realized it was because File Extension was unchecked. Checking this along with Filename allows it to automatically reconnect all proxies, even with the “_Proxy” at the end of the filename. I’m not sure if the update unchecked it or if I did that accidentally and Premiere saved my preference. Anyway, its working now with that change.
