bad audio echo distortion on ZOOM video clip

we are a not-for-profit cultural association trying to put together interviews from artists but having problems with audio quality - have upgraded to Premier Pro from Rush but not sure where to start as there are so many bewildering options. small example of problem attached. Help anyone?

Sounds like an issue with the audio recording. The seems to be a strange echo that probly is due to the fact that the people are listening over their computer speakers and their microphone picks up the sound of the other speaker. Except for lowering the level in between (and adding room tone) there isn't much you can do about it. Sorry.
