Bad imports in Premiere 2018

I’m having this problem with importing footage that makes the 4k files jittery on playback. The only way I’ve found to fix this is to reImport into the same project. This is now the second project in a row that this happened to. Also since 2018 update. Anybody have this problem?

    I would recommend using Cineform proxies for all 4K and H.264 media.
