Basic 3D issues

Issue: I've added the Basic 3D effect to an image. When I add some keyframes and scrub the timeline, the image disappears and the source monitor turns black. I have similar issues with After Effects whenever I try the Advanced 3D effect. I've used these features before and it worked as normal, but not now.

GPU: GTX 1080 - latest studio driver
Monitor connected to the GPU directly.

 

How do I fix this issue?

    Geussing it has something to do with the gpu

    Roll back a driver or do a clean manual install of the most current driver.

    Not seeing this on my end: make new project and import old one. See how that goes.

    Doesn’t work, the issue appears in After Effects also whenever I try to use the Advanced 3D renderer or 4D.
