Batch Re-naming and Batch Sequence Setting Changes

Hiya,

Premiere Pro CC2018

I work with large projects containing many many many sequences. These are often just varients of the same sequence. In an attempt to streamline the workflow I have 2 questions I was hoping someone could help with:

  1. I'm trying to find a way to change the names of multiple sequences at once. Is this possible? A lot of time is wasted by having to individually rename each sequence.
  2. Is there a way to change the sequence settings for a batch of sequences simultaneously? For example, change the aspect ratio of 26 different sequences at the same time?

Thanks in advance

You can use Sequence > Auto Reframe Sequence to quickly duplicate and convert your selected sequences to a different aspect ratio.

You can use Sequence > Auto Reframe Sequence to quickly duplicate and convert your selected sequences to a different aspect ratio.

Hi, it looks like this issue hasn't been solved yet. I think the first author asked about "how to rename multiple sequences at once". Fot instance, how it works in Finder (MacOS), you can select a few files and then rename them simultaneously. It'd really helpful to have this feature in Premiere Pro.

    Thank you!

Hello! We also spent time on this and created our own extension for batch rename and change the settings of the sequences:
