Question

Best export settings for slides-based webinar video?

Hello,

I record my webinar presentations as a video (1920x1080 format). The picture is still, I only switch cca 10 times to another fullscreen slide during the presentation. The video record of cca 90 minutes long webinar is perfectly clear and is about cca 60 MB file.

But I need to cut out some parts of it in Adobe Premiere. And my question is — what export settings to use for such a type of video to get the clear but relatively small file? I am a newbie in video editing so I have absolutely no glue what to choos/set. (I tried AVI option with no changes and get 28GB file, so I really need advice ).

Can someone help? Thanks.

Not sure why you wouldnt use Power Point for these presentations. Basically a slide show.

    How ever...

An mp4 (H264) file will be much smaller than an avi.

The mp4 file size will be determined by bit rate x duration.

The quality is determined by bit rate.

Try a bit rate target around 12MBs

Thanks for advice, I try these.

To answer your question: I have my slides prepared (as powerpoint) and then I run my 90 minutes long webinar where I talk all the time, share my fullscreen slides and discuss with others over internet. The webinar is automaticlally being recorded (me is not visible, only the current slide) as video with audio. And then I need to edit it, export and put on YouTube.
