Hi, my client need videos of DnX HD MOV format and requires Bit Rate 120 Mb/s.

But Pro CC 17 seems don't have any selection to change the Bit Rate, it doesn't even show the Bit Rate. We can only know the Bit Rate after video outputting, and the video shows Bit Rate above 180 Mb/s.

How can we change Bit Rate of DnX HD MOV format? Need help in urgent! Thanks ahead!

chrinco,

If I'm not mistaken, the bit rate of DNxHD/HR is set by selecting a particular frame resolution and quality. You don't set the nitrate yourself.

If you twirl down the presets in the Media encoder you will see the target bitrate (second to last column) for some common Avid files. You would select a quality based on the bit rate.
