Black Screen when using still images for timelapse

Hello all!

I would just like to start by saying that I am very new to using premiere pro so bear with me.

I am trying to create a timelapse with about 600 still images that I have imported into premiere pro cc 2017. When I drag the sequence over into my timeline, the screen shows as black. I cant see to find an answer to this.

My macbook pro is about 6 years old but has an upgraded flash and hard drive but I read it might be due to my graphics card? I have also read that maybe its due to the size of the files I exported from lightroom however my friend was able to use my files in premiere on his mac and it worked fine.

Any advice without having to go buy a whole new computer?

Thanks!

Adam

    Adam,

We need more info on your system and the size of these source images. You really need to resize them in Photoshop prior to working with them in Premiere Pro if they are large in frame size.

    Thanks,
    Kevin

Its a 13 inch macbook pro, early 2011. 2.3 GHz Intel Core I5 processor. 16 gb 1333 MHz DDR3 memory. Graphics card is Intel HD graphics 3000 512mb

Can I just re-export them from lightroom and if so what would be consider an ideal settings to export?
