Black Screen When Working ON Project But Audio IS Playing

When I use Premiere now. No Playback appears I can hear the audio. Also timeline does not move. As well when i close the program I have to go into background processes in task manger and end task or it will not reopen the only thing that has changed recently is i updated my gpu driver.

My System

-i7 6700k

-GPU gtx 1080

-Windows 10

I have tried

-uninstall reinstall

-using older graphics driver (when i installed Nvidia driver 389.69 i thought i fixed the problem but it reappeared )

-toggling eyes and mute

Any help would be appreciated

The current driver is 376.19 (not counting betas). Seems to be working fine here on 1070 and 960.

We have the same problem (and same system.)... Cuda is only part of the problem.... But it also has to do with something within premier. Hold down the Alt key while loading premier. If that dosent work, also downgrade Nvidia driver to 368.81 and hold down the Alt key again
