Blackmagic Intensity not outputting 1920x1080p (25fps) to external monitor

Hi

For some bizarre reason, my Intensity Shuttle is not outputting 1920 x 1080p (25fps) to the external monitor when using ANY of the Adobe sequence presets.

It is only outputting if I select 1080i 25fps (which to my knowledge means interlaced, which the file/sequence is not.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

I contacted Blackmagic and they said contact Adobe.  I contacted Adobe, and guess what? - they said contact Blackmagic!

Thanks in advance

So does it actually 'matter' - i.e. No degradation or playback issues etc etc?

What make/model reference monitor do you have connected to the Blackmagic hardware?

That can affect whether or not picture will show up.

We typically expect the reference monitor to sync with the input signal, but that's not always what will happen.  I've used Panasonic reference monitors that require that the the input signal be set on the monitor and an HP that only accepted interlaced signals.

25p is not part of the broadcast specification.  25i is.

BM has the habit of adhering to those specs pretty strictly.  It's actually quite annoying at times, their inflexibility.

are you on a mac or pc? usb shuttle or thunderbolt?

if you are on a pc, and its a usb shuttle, just forget it.

i tried with different computers, usb cards over the years,......not worth the effort. forget it.

got an intensity pro 4k, all good.
