Blackmagic Monitor and 2021 Premier Pro

After calling Blackmagic and Adboe tech support, I was told by Adobe tech support that my Blackmagic Ultra Studio Monitor would not work with PP 2021 and sure enoght it doesn't. I went back to PP version 2020 14.5 and the monitor dongle works fine. I'm on an IMAC M1 8 core. Just thought everyone should know if you are have problems with you Blackmagic cards and dongles!!

my experience has been ( of big desktop thing) that a separate card for sdi in and out ( blackmagic) alongside good graphics card ( full , not chip only like laptops etc ) output to real vidio hero monitor via sdi, works with resolve fine and i only use cs6 stuff so can't say what would happen with your effort to marry hardware and software, using your version of adobe.

I believe this is an M1 only issue. Try it on another Mac, if you have another to test with.
