Blue diagonal lines appear after hard drive reboots

My project is being worked on from an external hardrive that is plugged in through a usb hub. When I added one more external harddrive, for some reason all my external hard drives force ejected and when I rebooted premiere, a good handful of my files had the blue diagonal lines that have no video playback. What is worse though is that all my other files on my timeline have been switched out with different videos than the original video files. I do have one guess as what happened. I do have multiple folders with names of video clips that are most likely identical with another video file from a different event or project folder. Im guessing that I have multiple files with the same name because when I start a new shoot, I reformat the sd card where it starts with 001. and so i'm wondering if adobe has somehow mixed up all the sources of my videos with different videos elsewhere in different places.

My whole project is most likely finished if i don't correct this. Please help.
