Question

Blurry video with less contrast after exporting

I'm trying to export a video for Instagram Reels/TikTok from 4k footage I shot with a Black Magic. The footage on the timeline is extremely bright and crisp, however, when I export it the footage gets really blurry and the colors become much more muted. I'm attaching photos of the before and after of my footage, as well as my sequence and export settings. Thank you!

Your sequence and export are both set to a rather small frame-size. Which will not 'enlarge' well. And another user with an odd lightening issue noted that when they turned off both HLG and 'high efficiency', replacing the latter with "most compatible", the brightness issue went away.

I would suggest working with a 1080x1920 sequence, then exporting to the smaller framesize if that is what you need for Ig/TikTok use.

Just understand, again, that small framesize will not look good on a regular computer monitor. It will be soft or pixelated.
