Bring back the "LightSweep" Hack???

In Premiere Pro CC2014 it was possible to do a cool little hack: the 'LightSweep' effect could be moved from the After Effects plug-ins folder to the Common plug-ins folder and thus work flawlessly in both After Effects AND Premiere Pro!

i.e. 'LightSweep' moved from "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe After Effects CC 2015.3\Support Files\Plug-ins\Effects\CycoreFXHD"

to

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Common\Plug-ins\7.0\MediaCore

(not sure if doing the equivalent worked on a Mac or not)

But since version CC2015 and now CC2017, this little hack no longer works, whether using the 'LightSweep' effect from AE2014, AE2015 or AE2017.

Does anyone know of any AE-style Light Sweep effect that can be purchased for Premiere Pro, or of another way to get this hack to work in CC2017?

Thanks!
