Broken preview of time adjusted clips - Premiere v14 GPU Acc. (Metal)

I'm working on a Macbook pro with an AMD Radeon Pro 5500M.  I have video rendering set to GPU acceleration (Metal).  I have been seeing excellent performance and export times but have noticed issues when previewing clips that have been speed up by any amount above 200%.

Super weird right?

For example,  set Speed/Duration to 199% and the clip previews smoothly.  Set it to 200% and the clip does not preview at all.  It just shows a static single clip.

If I switch to software rendering it previews smoothly.

Is this a bug?  Anyone seen this issue?

Matt,

They don't give out much information typically other than acknowledged or we've repro'd it, and are working on it.

Not the most amazing response as far as details.

This has been confirmed as a bug and is being worked on. How soon we get updates or patches is anyone's guess as always.

And as always please report this on their UserVoice system so their upper managers get the metrics on how many users were hit by this. Adobe is metrics driven.
