[Bug] Adobe Premiere adding Audio Noise/Hiss on Playback

I have edited audio clips that sound great and contain no background noise/hiss in programs such as VLC and Adobe Audition, but for some reason when I play those exact same files back in my Adobe Premiere Timeline they now contain background noise/hiss.

However, when I render that exact same clip and play it back in VLC, the audio hiss/noise is not present.

Why is Adobe Premiere adding background audio noise/hiss on playback and how do I make it stop?

Thank you.

Hi nkcowmaster,

I am sorry for the audio issue. It might be an issue with the media cache. Please clear the media cache.

FAQ: How to clean media cache files?

Let us know the status of the issue.

Thanks,

I have the same problem. Clearing the cache didn't help. In the media player with audio everything is fine, in the premiere there is a loud noise...
