Bug exporting 608 captions

When exporting 608 captions I get a blank white box in place of apostrophes on export. It only happens on 608 captions. Having this issue on 3 different machines.

I'm exporting the captions embeded in an MXF OP1a file.

I have the same issue when exporting the Sidecar file separately.

Correct answer Stan Jones

Essential graphics panel, options (hamburger menu), try turning off "smart quotes."

Let us know. I have not tested.

It works! You the man Stan, thanks so much! I don't think I would have ever figured this out myself!

I have tested and can confirm that using a "non-smart" apostrophe works.

Note that you must enter the apostrophe after you have turned off "smart quotes." Oddly, the "smart" quotation mark is converted to a nonsmart character.

This gets tricky since the problem may not show up until playing back as closed captions. I do not see the problem in PR.
