Bug. Stabilization does not work correctly with videos of the same length

I'm applying a stabilization effect to two different videos with the same duration. First to the first video, waiting for the effect to be calculated, then to the second. The effect in the second video is not calculate at all, but is ready immediately. However, it does not work correctly and it's imposible. I made a video.

    You perhaps misunderstand how the program works. Premiere's project files, and sequences inside them, are "simple" text files.

     

    Project files hold the data of the assets imported into them, and the sequences created in them.

     

    The sequence files are text files listing the clip bits used, and effects applied x through y timecode on V whatever track.

     

    So it is very possible to have a corrupted character or two in those files cause problems.

     

    That is why Ann suggested you do certain things, because they repair possible corruption.

     

    Which "fixing the program" most certainly will not, as the problem isn't in the program code. It's in a local file on your computer.

    Removing the effect, then adding it without issue ... yea, that's a typical corrupt sequence bit. And having issues like this is a pain, no one questions that. But most of us here are simply practical types. What works works, what leads to trouble is best not done.

     

    And if a quick change to the sequence fixes it and gets you working again, then done.

     

    Warp is really by far the heaviest resource user in the app. Beats even the Neat Video plugin for video noise removal. And applying it on multiple clips at the same time can lead to this issue. And a couple others, fixed the same way.

     

    Might there be a way they could say program the app to not start a second Warp process through the system until the first one is applied? Maybe Would that fix this issue? Maybe.

     

    Might be worth an "Idea" post.

    Sorry, but this is just funny. I repeated this trick on several computers with different videos of the same length. And stabilization does not work correctly. If I remove the effect and add it again, everything starts working correctly. Are the files ok now? What happened? Isn't it the program? I create new projects and something gets damaged right away? I even made a video. Did you repeat this and everything was fine? This sounds like an absolutely ridiculous guess. God. I'll make this answer correct. This is simply brilliant... I'm sure that if I'm alone, then Adobe simply won't be able to do anything about it, and if not, then let someone else take part in this theater of the absurd... I did what I can.

    Is this issue queued for fixing? Or is there something else required from me? Usually, when I stabilize a video, I apply the effect to several clips at once, for example, to 10, wait for it to calculate, then apply it to another 10. At the moment, this is not possible due to the specified problem and my stabilization stage will last 10 times longer, which is absolutely unacceptable for my production.

    I haven't tried it. I have projects with hundreds of videos, some of which are time lapses with the same duration, and I don’t want to do a lot of unnecessary things, because it will take much more time. This error needs to be fixed.

    File corrupt?

    Did you try the reset button on the effect?

    Reimport file under a different name

    Try converting file to Prores.
