Buggy- Interpret footage, colors frame rate, etc

When selecting files in the project and modifying their

-frame rate

-color space (for Log footage)

- and even audio channels

The clips reset themselves.

So I am redoing this over and over again for the same clip before putting it into the timeline and sometimes it takes- many times it does not.

Once it is in the timeline, the clip in the timeline maintains the color or audio channels for example- but the clips in the project bins are reset.
