C100 Audio not working in PP 2022

I just shot an interview on my C100 mark 1. Openend the new Premiere, used media browser to find and import the footage. Neither the interview or any of the b-roll have any sound, including no sound in audio meters. Went back to Premiere 21, and using the same workflow the footage works fine

Did you ever figure this out? Exact same issue here.

No, I just work out of CC21. Multicam works better in that version as well

I saw another thread about this, where the sound didn't work in the new version but it worked in the old version. i'm thinking premiere might be trying to use a different fourcc video decoder in the updated version. Would this per chance happen to be AVC codec type?

Yes it is AVCHD H.264. Also it will work randomly for a few moments and then stop working. No apparent thing is causing it to start and stop working

Hi JP5CD8!

Sorry to hear that. Would you mind sharing some sample files with us to test?

Let us know.

Thanks,

Kartika

I'd be happy to share files, however in my experience audio isn't imported unless you have the entire folder from the C100, and use the media browser. Meaning sharing a single file wouldn't have audio regardless of bugs. So I'd be happy to share the entire 5 GB folder, I just need to know how to send

Right ... that's a problem.

And your import process via MediaBrowser shoulda worked to. Huh.

But other media in that project have sound properly, I suppose.

This in the Source monitor? Do the Properties of the clips show no audio?

Source and Program monitors. Properties show audio

Try setting your Default Audio Input to No Input in Preferences>Audio Hardware.
