Can I ever delete Premiere Pro scratch disks folders w/out having offline issues?
Hey there!
I'm migrating from FCPX to Premiere, so there's a bunch of different things between the apps.
Recently I had the WORST experience while working on a Premiere Pro project after I deleted all the scratch disks' project content (i.e: Captured Video, Captured Audio, Video Previews, Audio Previews, Motion Graphics Template Media). Fortunately I was helped by Adobe support and we could recover the files.
SO:
I have this project I've just finished but I'm still waiting for the client to - possibly - point out some adjustments - so I can't and won't change/delete/move anything until is done.
BUT: after the project is definitely finished, I really would like to get rid of the almost 50Gb of files that were generated on this specific project scratch disks.
1) Is there a way to safely do it?
2) would you recommend consolidating the project to a safe folder on a cloud or an external HD?
Consolidating the project does save the scratch disks contents?
Thanks in advance!
