Question

Can I mix 48 and 44.1 khz audio without syncing issues?

I have video clips with 48khz and 44.1khz in the same sequence. The sequence itself is set to 48khz (and I export to 48khz). Can the 44.1khz files lead to any audio syncing issues or does Premiere Pro automatically convert/resample those clips?

Whilst you can do this, I would not recommend this by any means.

It is far, far better to conform the audio clips to the project standard.....

That means I should convert the audio files from 44.1k to 48k Hz in another program before importing them into Premiere? What's the difference to letting Premiere do it itself? Can you elaborate?

I've mixed both with no problems.
