Question

Can I use keyframes to adjust EQ level over time? (student)

I'm mixing a short film for a fellow student, and there's a scene where two characters chat outside of a party before going inside. I added a low-pass filter to make the party's music sound more realistic when the characters are outside, but I'd like to slowly bring the higher frequencies back in for the transition to indoors. Ideally I'd like to control the EQ level using keyframes, or using something like an aux track's automation control in Pro Tools. Is there an easy way to accomplish this in Premiere (or Audition)? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You can keyframe any of the eq settings but it might be easier to have two versions of the music, one bass heavy and one normal and do a crossfade between them.
