Can I use Premiere on one computer and at the same time use a different CC app on another?

My computer was tied up for hours today rendering and I would like to buy a second computer just for rendering. I know I can install CC on multiple computers and have it active on two, but only use an app on one at a time. What is not clear to me is whether Adobe is referring to individual CC apps or the Creative Cloud app itself. Can I leave Premiere open and rendering/exporting on one computer, while using Acrobat, Photoshop and Illustrator on a second computer on the one CC account? Thanks.

It's a non-simultaneous use license intended for using the software at work and at home and that you won't run the same application on both computers at the same time.  So, yes, you can have Premiere Pro rendering/exporting on one computer while using Acrobat, Photoshop and Illustrator on another using the same Adobe ID/CC account.  It's even cross-platform.

 

If you happen to open Premiere Pro while the render is still going on the other machine, there's nothing on the Adobe side that's going to stop you.

 

If you forget to log out of your Adobe ID and attempt to launch one of the applications in your plan on a third computer, you'll be prompted with a dialog box allowing you to deactivate one of the two active machines.

    Longer answer: Not according to the EULA.  Creative Cloud is the software, which is composed of individual apps.

     

    The unasked question: Will Adobe take action against a user if they leave Premiere open and rendering/exporting on one computer, while using Acrobat, Photoshop and Illustrator on a second computer on the one CC account?

    Hi, I found the EULA and read through it. It did clarify things for me. It calls Creative Cloud 'a service' and the various programs 'apps'. So as long as I don't have Premiere open on both computers it seems to be fine to do what I want to do. Thanks for mentioning the EULA though - that helped.
