Can't change audio levels using a pen tool in Premiere Pro
I haven't used Premiere for 2-3 years now. I used to work with it extensively.
I relaunched it just now to do a quick edit job and noticed things are quite different in v 23.6.
For example, I can still easily change audio levels using a pen tool in the timeline, but it seems now I cannot do that with the video layers.
I was trying to bring up the opacity levels for the clip in the timeline (much like the audio "line" in the audio track layers), but after a search it appears Adobe has changed the controls to now mimic the interface logic that is used in After Effects. i.e. It is now done by editing in the effects panel. Which is not nearly as user friendly.
Can anyone tell me if i can get back the "old" editing controls for making manual fade in/outs in the timeline?
I'm assuming that Adobe just got rid of the old way of doing things.
