Can't change Still image default duration to 1?

Trying to do some stop motion and making it easier on myself by changing the default image duration to 1 frame but it's impossible? Whenever I type in 1 it just changes it to 2, which I don't want since I still have to drag everything this way

Can anyone else replicate this? I can't see any reason why it wouldn't let me put 1 here.

I can change it to 0.01 - which doesn't work fine (I thought it did) as that just shows up as a black screen

Anyone with any knowledge know how to get around this? What was supposed to make my stop motion a lot quicker to do hasn't worked 😞
