Can't control mask position with Tangent Ripple in effects mode - Position X/Y only moves the clip i

I'm trying to use my Tangent Ripple to control mask positions in Premiere Pro to speed up manual mask tracking adjustments. In Tangent Mapper's effects mode, I can see Position X and Position Y parameters and I've mapped them to a trackerball, but they only control the clip's position in the frame, not the actual mask path position.

Is there any way to map mask path position controls to the Tangent Ripple, or does Premiere simply not expose those parameters to control surfaces? It seems like the Ripple only works with Lumetri Color controls by default, but I'm hoping there's a workaround I'm missing.

The Tangent Hub mapping utility works with the full API of Premiere, but, masking motion is not 'out' in the API as far as I've ever seen.

I've a full Elements panel and a Ripple unit ... Elements on my desktop, Ripple normally used with the laptop. I map Hades out of them in Premiere ... audio mixing is great on an Elements, with those 12 rotating knobs ... and moving/sizing/positioning of any selected screen element and all.

The new Warp Engine process allows for creating control of things with sliders that will be in a stable position on screen, but getting that to work requires the slider control always to be at an exact position on-screen.

The Tangent kit is far more useful in Premiere than in Resolve ... but then, Resolve is simply a loss leader to get users to buy BlackMagic kit ... panels & such. And though I've got several BM cameras, I don't have space on my desk nor budget for the 3-4 different panels I'd need to replace the functions in Premiere I do with one panel.

Everyone's mileage always varies ...

thanks Neil! Thats a pity! Blurring Faces would be a LOT faster if i could use the trackerball for position. currently i am using its transport knob to move around the timeline and drag the mask via mouse. i hope this feature will come out anytime soom.
