can't delete clip in timeline

I had been working on a project in PP and when I brought it to a different computer I was not able to delete a clip on the timeline. I have updated the software, tried to shut down and start again. Has anybody ever had this problem and how to solve?

I figured it out with my tutor. It had something to do with the keyboard shortcuts. Thank you!

We need a bit more info to help.

How are you "deleting" the clip? Could it be that the keyboard shortcuts on the new computer are different? Post a screenshot or recording of your screen if possible so we can figure it out.
