Can't download to D drive

It doesn't give me location options to download the program onto my D drive. I've set my browser and computer settings to download to D drive. I have no space on my C anymore and I've been uninstalling and reinstalling forever to try and figure this out. I need to free up space because I can't edit anymore with it on my C drive. How do I download to D drive? I've got windows 10.

You need to get a larger C drive.

Your apps should be on the system drive ... move documents, video files, cache files and such to other drives.

Leave the programs on the C.

You should not install other than C that eventhough you can.

Don´t know if this is does the trick to 100%, but there is a setting in the Creative Cloud app.
