Can't Edit Bug Report Forum Posts

If Adobe really is committed to replacing the other forum with this one, then functional parity should be a priority.

Why can I not edit a post here after I've made it?

Hello @Remote Index,

Thanks for the message. Sorry, the product team never responded to this bug report. Are you still having this issue? If so, I can notify the forum maintenance team.

I'll move your post to the Discussions board while we await your information.

Thanks,

Kevin

This seems fixed. The forums are functioning as expected.

Got it. Looks like a moderator may have fixed the title.

Do you see an edit option for any of your posts in this thread that are not the original post? I have not posted a bug or idea in the new forum yet, so still wondering if this is some new oddity.

Well, to be frank, I'm discouraged that of the few recent posts I've made, this is the one that gets the most views and responses. But more to the point:

"I don't think there's anything stopping you from adding a post to explain what you want to change in your original post..."

It would be nice to be able to correct the mis-typed post title from "form" to "forum".

"You are clicking on the 3 dots/"more" at the end of your post, correct?"

Incorrect. The adobe-provided interface is attached.

I'm surprised you can't edit it. That usually means that you're very new on the forum. But you've been on the forums a while and you have more than just a few posts.

You are clicking on the 3 dots/"more" at the end of your post, correct?

but I can edit my reply to your original post, for whatever that's worth...  maybe it's just the first post in a thread that you can't change...

can't talk to adobe's thinking, but I don't think there's anything stopping you from adding a post to explain what you want to change in your original post...
