Can't Export Project with VR Light Leak

Hi recently I've tried exporting a project that uses the transition VR Light Leak on some text as a transition in, but every time I go to export it my entire Premiere Pro/Media Encoder crashes. In some other forums it looked like that this transition might only work in VR video? If this is the case how do I bring the light leak out of the vr format or use a similar transition on text? If this isn't the case does anyone know why my video isn't exporting?
