Hi there,

i cannot hear or export audio that i put on Track 3 and 4 - in a sequence using the broadcaste 25i 6 Mono Template.

The audio is there, i can see it and I can see the amplitude and if I move it to another track i can hear and export it.

What is wrong? Can anybody please help?

Silvia

The Broadcast 25i 6 Mono preset is designed for TV workflows, where each audio track is sent to a different channel (like dialogue on one, music on another). If you're using regular stereo speakers or headphones, you might only hear the first couple of tracks.

To hear all tracks in stereo, hold Shift and click the small bowtie icons at the bottom of the audio meters—this mixes all channels so you can hear everything.

If you're exporting a regular stereo video, it’s best to copy your clips into a new sequence with a stereo audio mix to avoid audio issues.

Just move the audio to a different track and delete the ' problem'  track.

Seen this on occasion (also with video tracks)

Hi Silvia,

Welcome to the community! Please check that the Mix track is not accidentally muted or set to -∞. If it is set correctly & you are still not hearing any audio, please share a screenshot of the Audio Track Mixer panel in Premiere Pro.

Thanks,

By clicking and shutting down, I managed to revive track 4 (don't ask me how). But track 3 is still dead. I can move the sound file to another track and hear it. I can also delete the track and create a new one, which works too.
However, since I'm not very familiar with sound so far, I wanted to keep the preset track assignment from the broadcast template in order to get an automatic mix of the pre-assigned tracks.

Where can I find the -️?
When I added sound to the two problem tracks, I heard everything perfectly.

Thanx so much for your help....
