Can't import any video into Premiere Pro

All of a sudden my PP took a complete dive and won't allow me to import any video clips. I just get a blank progress bar and nothing happens. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version of PP 2023. I have also installed previous versions. I can't get any of them to work. Do I need to wipe my computer at this point? I'm on a Mac Studio - has all the power I need...
