hello there, i'm having trouble just simply dragging footage i've imported onto my Bin, onto the timeline for the new sequence i've made.

i've looked at multiple tutorials on the internet, all accusing the formate of the files, MOV, and mp4, and i've tried to resolve it on this matter, but it still wont work for me.

help!!?

Are you dragging-and-dropping a clip onto your timeline? What happens when you do?

Have you created a new sequence?

If you mean dragging the media to a sequence in the Timeline panel, that depends on how the Source targeting is set.

There are charcoal or blue blocks on the far left of the timeline panel, and the left ones are Source ... things coming in from Project panel or Source monitor.

The right ones are Track targets for selecting the 'active' tracks while editing.

If you are having troubles moving things into a bin in the Project panel, that's a different issue.
