Can't see the selected clip when draging it along the timeline

when I'm trying to drag and drop a clip from a point of the timeline to another or from a timeline A to a timeline B the clip I've selected it's not appearing on screen until  I drop it.

I'm on win11  10.0.26100 using  nvidia Pilote studio 591.74

Would you mind sharing more details so we can better understand the issue? What are your system specs (CPU, GPU, RAM)? Does it happen in a specific project or all of them? Are you using multiple monitors? Please try resetting the workspace.

latest update of premiere pro as I write this post


The problem occurs on every project wether i'm using one display monitor or two. I've tried to resetting the workspace multiple time.

I'm using a new Laptop. I'm using a template project wich I copied from my old Laptop to this new one.

At first I had also another problem, as I pressed space bar to play the "cursor" wasn't moving along the timeline and reached to the correct position when I paused the video, problem wich I solved by deactivating the "accelerated IU  render by GPU".

Do you need more info?
