I can't select English as the language for spell checking.

I have the latest version of premiere pro in Italian.
I work with English texts and I would like to activate spell checking, but it doesn't work for english. I am given the option to use only Italian for spell checking. The English package is already installed and works in the "transcription" panel, but I can't select English as the language for spell checking.
