Can't select text...

So, I use text tool and write a sentence.

Then, I want to change let's say alignment. Or delete two words. Usually, easy enough. Just select the whole line or relevant parts. But, I can't…. Why????

I have a similar problem. Sometimes I can select my text and adjust it etc. but other times I can't select any of my text at all! Like just now I am adding text to my vids and up to now it has been fine but then I can't select it at all. Even if I select the text on the timeline, nope it does not want to select - any ideas?

Why? I dont know maybe if you show us and gave some more info.

That's what I can't figure out...

I'm talking about your regular "left click and drag to select". I don't see the text cursor when hoovering over the text either...

I will ask again: did you try trashing preferences?
