Can't zoom in or out while dragging clip

Hi, I accidentally hit a key and now when I am editing I am unable to click a clip and zoom out of the timeline to put in an appropriate position.

    One doesn't normally drag and zoom at the same time.

    Do one at a time.

      I know it's 5 years later but this is such a useless comment, I have been dragging and zooming since forever and it always worked perfectly. Now it just suddenly stopped working, why shouldn't I be able to do both at the same time if it always worked like that?

      hmmmm. maybe try to go to 'workspace' setting and reset to default workspace ?

      then click on some blank space in timeline area to activate it, and then use keys to zoom in and out ?
